ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
The Annotated Bibliography is the second step toward your final project for this course. You will consider your thesis statement (both the problem and associated symptoms/aspects impacted) and review an exhaustive body of relevant literature (research). Your will critically analyze the research and identify key components to integrate in your paper. Findings from your literature review will provide support (mixed support or a lack of support) for your thesis statement and will inform your proposed problem resolution (which will appear in your final project submission).
The Annotated Bibliography is comprised of three sections:
(1) introduction paragraph
(2) 10 scholarly bibliographic entries and summary paragraph(s)
(3) conclusion paragraph(s)
Specific instructions for each of the aforementioned components are outlined below in the Technical Guidelines section.
CONTENT GUIDELINES
Your assignment is comprised of three distinct parts: (1) introduction; citations and summary paragraphs; and (3) conclusion paragraph. The following sections explain each component in detail.

Introduction Paragraph
The introduction paragraph provides an overview of your Final Paper. Your thesis statement is the last sentence of this paragraph.

10 Scholarly Articles
A minimum of 10 scholarly article references (i.e., peer reviewed articles) are required. Articles selected may come from a variety of disciplines (e.g., communication, psychology, sociology, business, marketing) in order to fully address variables associated with the phenomenon under examination.
For each article, you will:
(a)prepare an annotated bibliographic entry that contains all bibliographic information for the article (e.g., APA style Reference page)
(b)provide a one- to two-paragraph summary of each article
Each entry should appear in APA style (e.g., formatting, article order) and summary paragraphs should present a concise synthesis of the article. Direct quotes, regurgitation of the abstract (or other components of the article) is plagiarism, and will result in zero points for the assignment, and failure of this course.

Summary Paragraphs
The summary paragraph(s) for each entry should demonstrate that you read the article and synthesized relevant information. Suggested structure includes:
(a) first paragraph is a synthesis of the article (e.g., study design, variables tested, findings, implications)
(b) the second paragraph is your analysis of the findings (i.e., applicable to the problem posed, design flaws, study limitations, variables not considered). The final section (one to two paragraphs) will summarize the findings of the articles reviewed as a whole (the body of literature reviewed) as to the degree of support for your thesis.

Conclusion
The conclusion is one to two paragraphs that summarize the body of literature (15 scholarly articles) reviewed as a collective. What are the common findings, holistic implications, and/or notable findings?
TECHNICAL GUIDELINES
References are presented in alphabetical order. APA style is expected for the assignment (e.g., spacing, font, running head, page numeration, cover page). The running head for this assignment is your last name.
The assignment is not a cohesive essay. Do not try to connect the three parts together as an essay.
